17 lessons of life
I am in that kind of mood today to put these into the list. It could be kinda messy but who cares:
- In regards to business and work think in advance and thoroughly on a big decision to make. Those being done impulsively were ended up to e a complete time waste. Just sit down and think about it for a few days, make a proper research, put in all pros and cons and then leave it until ripens enough. With no research and the broad vision of the whole picture so many efforts were put to nowhere.. Even moving to other country worth to spend money making some initial travel before parachuting to the new land.
- Do you know of what differs proactive from reactive? It’s the way we react on external events and happenings. It became a buzz word for agents who mostly unable to define or know the true meaning of it. However, it is quite important though. I ran into this matter in the book I recently red - The 7 habits of highly effective people. It could be sifted out critically but has quite a number of reasonable thoughts. No need to take someone’s opinion above yours in the first hand. Choose whether to follow the natural reaction impulsively or revert to your own feelings and cold considerations and pull the action out of the expected flow. It’s hard to define but it truly means sitting on the top of everything and measure up whether the case worth to be in and follow the most natural reaction. Sometimes is rather wise to leave. Lose the battle but win the war. No need to put some effort which is pointless in its origin. Relations, problems.. anything. Maybe it is the maturity? lol
- Take action. Simple and obvious…but so many thoughts and ideas watered the sand finished off with nothing. Out of time.. too hard to take.. let’s put it back - god knows many other excuses that are easily made..
- Always take risks. 9 out of 10 times fall on your ass and it hurts.. but the that one you succeed.. well you forget about the other 9 failures.
- Friends are important. You’d compare with the family - it is always on the top. Having feelings, people who care of you who interested in matters with you, people ready to share and enrich - that changes life a highly positive way. I’m not fully extravert but being in an emotional cosmos turns me upside out.
- It’s quite often heard from others “no one give the shit of matters with me”, like no one interested of me, everyone cares in his personal life only. Partly true. Easy to blame, hard to fix. Invest you time and emotions to other people and that will came back rewarded. That is quite simple. Old adage - threat others as you want yourself to be treated.
- Spend every day as the last one. Any day you live by must bring you something new. It’s like never feel like you’re settling. “We only get 1 life here, you should be taking advantage of every second you have.” Perhaps merely new impression, new thing being done intentionally, new experiences or useful things learned. Days easily pass by with no any trace. It is still the hardest issue I’m trying to cope with. The last year I put some efforts to fix it as I see the ways.
- Planning. Time is undoubtedly worthless. I felt it sharply after turning 30. So much time thown already to fuckin nowhere. I did not plan ahead unless some big issues turned up to overcome. 4 levels of planning to adhere to. Effectiveness and planning are synonyms simply. I see a lot of things to improve.
- Surround yourself with happy people, it really reflects on you. Respectively keep away from depressing and mopy people. People with no or lost goals. People losing they identity. People with only a life measure to stay as common hide in the crowd and never let themselves or others to stick out in any filed. Expats ride into this pitfall very often.
- Do not be death scared of the bottom. A lot of things were neevr done being afraid of slipping downhill. It’s the other issue might be many are hard to cope with.
- Trust nobody but yourself. The more critical the issue is -the less I’d rely on others. Well any big thing might be done cooperatively only - so backing off is quite natural..but shit happens, there’s a little bit of devil in everyone. On the other hand I have experience of blissful help getting things done with other people but anyway it might be a matter of sharing and taking responsibility. On my workplace at least everyone is so afarid of any bit of responsibility that it just turns out to the endless game passing it to each other otherwise you the sucker around the desk. Crooked circle of the corporate life.
- Accept that nobody will ever know the certain way to the prosperity walking your shoes (and no one knows tomorrow’s exchange rate!)
- Being rewarded does not mean working hard and long hours, it just the matter of the niche you are sitting with your skills and talent and how effectively you position these in the eyes of others. The hard work is rewarded if targets the certain goals.
- Being in sport is not only rewards you body it rewards the whole mindset. It’s hard to explain but I feel much happier the day and complete in some sport (even loosing singles in tennis) or heavily pumping iron comparing the days I took the rest.
- No more bloody PC games and no films to be rewind. So many magnificent people and amazing things around to come to the grip with.
- Never give up on something you truly believe in. The problem is that the believes may alter on the half way though…
- I will never understand of who I am!
The last thing and the reason I made it up her is to formulate thoughts. Without putting them together it will never come to something real unless being defined and honestly faced. And the good English practice
Ok let’s cut this psycho mindflow and get back to work

Lowest in the interest rate
The Reserve Bank of Australia says its decision to keep interest rates on hold this month was a very close call.
But the central bank has left the door open for future rate cuts.
Bank of Canada 0.5%
Bank of England 0.5%
Bank of Japan 0.1%
European Central Bank 1.5%
US Federal Reserve 0.25%
Swiss National Bank 0.25%
The Reserve Bank of Australia 3.25%
Australia is more reliant on foreign capital then other countries. Over 40% of the money banks lend to Australian business’s and residential mortgages comes from overseas. Its the interest rates which are higher then other countries that attracts this capital. Any reduction in foreign capital would lead to collapse in lending from Australian banks and this would lead to business cutting back operations leading to widescale unemployment and an enormous property crash. Personally I’d rather pay the higher rates. Their is simply not enough capital in Australia to maintain our current house price levels.
Current RBA gold and foreign exchange assets 67 638$mln..

We have just come through a period where we have borrowed money to buy things that we can’t afford to impress people we don’t like.

Wacky
I have red surveys Jumla vs Drupal vs Worpress. I am perplexed with these holywars. Wordpress seems to be more blog oriented with black box ingredients. So I am a bot confused to go ahead with it. Although it’s the simplest one. Drupal has many smart developers but a way to many polishing works around it. And the showcase didn’t express something impressive. Last night I’ve been looking through top 30 blogs. Found the evidence on my friend’s note that scary design less destructive from the content and even CPI turns out to be higher . It is all about content. I don’t wanna dig in into to much technical details. So…
